Quikfun Corporation, a food manufacturing company is urgently looking for the following positions:
1. Industrial Engineering Staff
A. Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of Industrial Engineering course.
• Must have at least one (1) year working experience in Industrial Engineering applications, preferably in manufacturing set-up.
• Must be keen to details, can handle work pressure (especially those related to job), and can work with people from various functional areas.
• Must be able to accomplish work responsibilities with minimum supervision
• Must have strong communication skills
• Analytical and system oriented.
B.Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible in the analysis and improvement of production processes which aims to improve efficiency of operations at a minimal cost
• Analyze, review data and generate manufacturing standards.
• Document and evaluate all results/data in the implemented projects and processes
• Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost
reduction, processes, quality and productivity
• Monitors project’s progress to ensure it follows the timeline.
• Plan, manage and monitor production schedule to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
2. Production Manager
A. Job Description:
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities involved in the manufacturing of products. This includes providing leadership in planning, coordinating and supervising tasks in different functions such as warehousing, production, quality assurance and maintenance to ensure efficiency in daily operations. Leadership, organizational, planning and communication skills are required for this position.
B. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set efficiency targets for each function to produce quality finished goods
• Support and participate in the company’s food safety and sanitation processes
• Monitor quality of raw materials, in-process goods, finished goods, operational processes, and overall plant environment to comply with GMP standards
• Oversee daily set-up and clean-up of equipment and machineries to ensure effective and efficient operations
• Set schedules or timetable and effectively communicate them to production teams in order to achieve volume targets and production plans
• Effectively manage personnel to ensure that they understand and accomplish their daily tasks as well as to increase their efficiency and potential
C. QUALIFICATION:
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 yrs working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations/Restaurant or equivalent
3. Technical Specialist
A. Job Responsibilities:
• Directs department operations (e.g. safety programs, preventive maintenance…) for the purpose of providing services within established time frames and in compliance with related requirements.
• Inspects all aspects of machines, repair work, projects, equipment, daily maintenance and supplies for the purpose of ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently.
• Hands-on, very capable and competent across all areas of property, machineries, equipment, trucks (electrical/electronic) maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in trouble shooting and evaluation
• May contribute ideas and implementation of machine fabrications
• Commissioning/Installation of machines in the manufacturing sites
B.Job Qualification:
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering course
• At least with 3 years working experience in Food Manufacturing Company. Experience in a Snack Food Manufacturing Company is an advantage.
• Must be proficient in mechanical and electrical systems
• Resourceful and innovative in achieving goals and objectives
• Ability to work independently and in team environment
• With strong management skills
4. MACHINE OPERATOR
A. Qualification:
• 22 to 35 years of age
• male
• Single/married
• With atleast 1 year experience as machine operator in food manufacturing industry
• A graduate 2 year vocational courses or Bachelors degree , with TESDA certificate.
B. Job Description:
• Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order
• Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures
• Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift
• Recalibrate machines at the end of each shift
• Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running
• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
• Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
• Perform random tests to ensure accuracy
• Perform safety checks on every machine
• Ensure that machines are producing quality products by managing periodic checks on output
• Ensure stocks of needed materials are ready and available at all times
• Create and maintain activity logs
• Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors
