Searching for a Full Service Accountant

Although I work exclusively online as a writer and consultant, I do pay my taxes. Admittedly though, having to do so has been an unpleasant experience and this is not because I don’t want to pay. What gets my goat every tax period is the amount of paperwork and updating I have to go through on a regular basis.

As a self-employed professional, I need to pay the monthly business tax, quarterly income tax and annual income tax. Add to that, special taxes for earnings from capital gains. Before I get to pay all these, I’m also required to maintain accounting books and log all pertinent business transactions. The whole process is truly a job onto itself. That’s why I can’t afford to do it on my own. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have time for my own job.

What I’m keen to find then is a full service accountant just like this Hawaii CPA. I need someone who can look after my books, plan my taxes, process tax payments and even provide good business advice. My acquaintances have told me it’s enough to get a bookkeeper but there’s certainly a lot more that a full service CPA can bring to the table. More than just bookkeeping, I want an accountant who’s after my best interests.

I hope I can find one in my city soon.
