REAL TIME ENERGY TRADER

(SYSTEM OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT)

Qualifications:
* Graduate of any Bachelor’s Degree
* Experience in an Electrical Industry is an advantage

Functions include:

* Collaborates with Generation and System Operations to optimize generating unit offers and to maintain the most favorable mix of energy to accomplish least cost supply and meet system reliability requirements;
* Execute bilateral purchase/sales transactions by negotiating price and delivery terms to meet least cost supply needs while adhering to established strategies and risk parameters;
* Monitors electric energy market, Cepalco Power’s energy position and system operating conditions and formulating proper energy resource decisions

POWER QUALITY ENGINEER

(DISTRIBUTION PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT)

Qualifications:
* Registered Electrical Engineer
* Experience in Power Quality is an advantage
* Must have a clear working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code, Philippine Grid Code and Philippine Distribution Code and other related recognized standards dealing with power quality

Functions include:

* Performs as central point of contact and coordinates power quality support to Cepalco’s group and customers;
* Analyze and determines the root causes of customer’s voltage/power quality issues and identify solutions to customer’s technical representative to resolve issues;
* Supervises the power quality crew concerning power quality;
* Coordinates with other engineering groups to study and develop dynamic, harmonic, and transient analysis studies of the electric power system and proposed Cepalco standards;
* Specifies power quality equipment for purchase;
* Coordinates installation of temporary power quality recording equipment;
* Develop power quality summary reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical groups including internal and external customers
