Job Description:
A content writer produces different types of content to help drive traffic and develop voice of an organization’s online presence. The role involves working closely with account managers and understanding the client’s requirements. A content writer is also responsible for coming up with different strategies to reach out to potential clients and stir discussion. The job demands a strong command in English language, attention to details, great communication and time management skills.
Essential Functions:
The candidate should be able to perform the following:
Write high quality, relevant and unique different types of content
Proofread and edit content
Promote content across all channels e.g social media platforms
Maintain web pages and blogs
Contribute/update social media posts
Communicate with the technical team to assess any technical challenges in displaying the content
Assist in developing and documenting procedures to manage web content
Help plan and implement content marketing campaign for specific marketing goals
Keep abreast with the best practices in writing for the web, social media trends and industry-related trends.
Competencies:
Excellent written communication skills
Good understanding of digital marketing and E-commerce
Good understanding of SEO and strategies for organic traffic
Using analytical data to steer content creation
