Most experts agree that the future of our nation and society hinges upon the superior education of our youth. For this reason, it is essential that common core training is implemented as a foundation of standards in every state. These standards need to be relevant to the skills and knowledge that will be required as the youth prepare for college and future careers. Parents and teachers alike should be fully aware that adopting the Common Core State Standards is a necessary first step in providing the best high quality education for our young people.
The primary focus of common core training in the classroom is upon preparing students for life and success in whatever opportunity life brings their way. Individual states are not required to adopt the program, but a high percentage of states have done so. Those states and territories that have not adopted the common core standards feel the cost is prohibitive at this time. School administrators can help by creatively securing resources that will help teachers implement and support the new standards.
Mentoring Minds is an organization that is focused on supporting teachers as they inspire their students to acquire all the skills required to succeed. Those students will benefit significantly from common core training throughout the years of their education, and also as they enter the workforce of the 21st century.
