To all those who successfully registered for the Cebu Blog Camp 2011, the long wait is over. We will finally be seeing each other in The Queen City of the South, Cebu, this Saturday, May 28.
The Cebu blog Camp is an event organized annually by the Cebu Bloggers of the Blog and Soul Movement which is the educating leg of the Philippine Blog Awards Inc. which has been running for already four years. This is the largest gathering of bloggers in Cebu.

I made it a point this year to attend the Cebu Blog Camp because:
- I’m looking forward to learn the latest strategies from online experts to help further my aspiration to become a top Filipino blogger;
- Having been cooped up for years in my virtual office, alone, with nothing but a pillow for an officemate, I’m eager to meet and exchange notes with real human bloggers;
- Being a Project Coordinator for an Australian IM guru, I’d like to get a feel for where Filipino bloggers are and how different or similar we treat blogging as US or American bloggers do;
- I’ve lived in CDO for six years but I am a true blue Cebuana and it’d be interesting to touch base with fellow bloggers from my hometown and possibly get a bite of danggit or rosquillos while I’m at it;
- Events for bloggers are few and far between (or I might not have been peeking from under my rock much) and this is a great excuse to get up, travel and burn the fat in my belly that has grown exponentially since starting work online.
Looking forward to a fruitful camp day in Cebu. 😉
