Quality Control Technician
Job Description:
• The correct and proper implementation of established QC program in order to achieve conformance with existing standards (ITPs, ACI and ASTM standards )
• Observe and follow frequencies of tests as established on QC Programs particularly the internal and external tests on fresh concrete in order to establish conformance with costumer requirement and to achieve zero rate rejection.
• Comply in ensuring that QMS standards are followed to the letter in order that the department’s compliance with international standard is met
• Job covers selection of sampling plan, physical selection and gathering of samples, selection of calibrated proper tools and equipment, conduct tests on fresh concrete samples before leaving the plant and on site deliveries (ie. Workability, slump tests, air content, unit weight etc), non conformances recorded, data properly recorded and submitted to immediate superior for early resolution and corrective actions taken. Plant base tests for concrete production ( moisture content, calibration of admix dispensers, assists BPOs in scale checks and calibration )
Qualification:
• Male, not more than 45 years old.
• At least a college level of Civil Engineering or Civil Technologies, preferably industry.
• At least one (1) year experience in related field, preferably in cement or ready-mix concrete industries.
• Minimum 3 yrs. Experience in concrete and aggregate quality testing
• QMS, Safety, ASTM and BS Procedures (Test Methods, Standards and Specifications), Acceptance testing, Calibration
• Must possess Customer Focus, Communication, Team work and Integrity
• Willing to be assigned in Misamis Oriental
