Graphic Artist
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Interpreting the client’s needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
Estimating the time required to complete the work.
Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research;
Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to the salesman;
Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and font style and size
Preparing rough drafts of material based on agreed brief
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required
Repair minor computer-related problems.
Completes projects by coordinating with outside supports, art services, printers, etc.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Corel Draw
Knowledge in basic photography.
Layout and Graphic Design Skills.
Creative and Flexible.
Has keen attention to Details.
Must be deadline-Oriented.
Effective verbal and listening skills.
Ability to balance work on several projects at a time.
Ability to act on own initiative and operate effectively as part of the team.
