Position: DESIGN ENGINEER – SCADA Hardware Specialist
(Distribution Planning & Development Department)

Qualifications:

• Registered Electrical Engineer
• Experience in substation Gateway/RTU & Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) Configuration
• Experience in electrical utility control systems
• Demonstrated experience of communication protocols (DNP, MODBUS, IEC 61850, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience with Windows & UNIX/Linux OS
• Demonstrated experience using MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio & Project

Responsibilities:

• The implementation of substation and distribution automation projects
• The management and maintenance of critical SCADA computer systems, monitors SCADA computers and network for faults; troubleshoots and correct faults
• The development and modification of SCADA system procedures, documentation, and checklists for the internal use
• Serves as technical resource to management, staff and customers on SCADA systems
• Stays current on technology associated with SCADA systems & providing 24/7 callout support for SCADA – related applications
