POSITION: CORE MACHINE OPERATOR
REPORTS TO: CM SHIFT ENGINEER
RESPONSIBILITY
4.1 Setup, runs and monitors the coretube machine while it’s working.
4.2 Loads kraftliner or chipboards on the coretube machine.
4.3 Adjusts machine tension and pressure depending on the size of coretubes.
4.4 Ensures conformance of coretubes to quality standard.
4.5 Lubricates shafting, belt pulley or tension belt.
4.6 Responsible for the mixing up of glue.
4.7 Ensure target output is met.
4.8 Performs basic machine troubleshooting.
4.9 Ties up finished cores and piles them up in the stacking area.
4.10 Withdraws kraftliner, chipboards and glue from warehouse.
4.11 Counts, records total output, number of kraftliner or chipboard used and spoilage or rejected cores.
4.12 Assists maintenance personnel on shutdown activities.
4.13 Performs housekeeping before and every end of shift.
4.14 Follows Company Rules and Regulations
4.15 Follows social compliance policy.
4.16 Performs other jobs that may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
5.1 Graduate of Technical/Vocational Course.
5.1 With at least 6 months work related experience.
COMPETENCIES
6.1 Meet machine targets.
6.2 Fill out relevant paper works as required.
6.3 Communicate effectively with others.
6.4 Read and understand procedures, work instructions.
6.5 Knowledgeable in Machine Troubleshooting
